Government forms high-level committee to probe Ncell share transactions

KATHMANDU: A committee led by former Auditor General Tankamani Sharma has been established by the government to investigate Ncell’s transactions involving the buying and selling of shares.

Ministry of Information and Communications Rekha Sharma disclosed that a 5-member committee, including Secretary Fanindra Gautam, Joint Secretary Baburam Bhandari, Ritesh Kumar Shakya, and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal President Sujan Kumar Kafle, was appointed during a cabinet meeting this morning.

The high-level committee has been tasked with thoroughly examining Ncell’s share transactions and is expected to deliver a comprehensive report within 30 days.
