Govt forms negotiation team for World Bank aid in road improvement program

KATHMANDU: Rudra Prasad Gautam has been named the new Chairman of the Water Supply and Tariff Commission by the government. Joining him on the Commission are Yashoda Karki and Kulbhushan Sharma, who have been appointed as members. The cabinet reached this decision during its Thursday morning meeting.

Additionally, the government has granted the mandate to establish a negotiation team, to be led by the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. This team will be responsible for negotiating the assistance received from the World Bank for the inaugural phase of the Regional and Local Road Improvement Program.
