Under his reign, the borders of Nepal expanded from the Tista River in the east to the Chepe River in the west.

In 1801 BS, Prithvi Narayan Shah conquered Nuwakot, and in a historic conquest in 1826 BS, he secured the Kathmandu Valley. His successors continued the legacy, further expanding Nepal to the fort of Kangada in the west.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party is at the forefront, organizing various programs that reflect on Prithvi Narayan Shah’s enduring legacy and his contribution to the nation’s unification.

As the nation unites to honor Prithvi Narayan Shah, the 302nd Prithvi Jayanti becomes a momentous occasion, symbolizing the enduring spirit of unity and diversity that defines the rich history and cultural tapestry of Nepal.
