Ncell and FWEAN collaborate to enhance women entrepreneurs’ capacity

KATHMANDU: Ncell and the Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) have joined forces for a social cause, committing to collaborate on enhancing the capacity of women entrepreneurs nationwide. This partnership aims to contribute women empowerment and the socio-economic development of Nepal.

Coinciding with the 7th International Women’s Trade Expo 2024, Ncell and FWEAN have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work together in nurturing and mentoring women entrepreneurs, facilitating holistic development opportunities for sustainable business growth and strengthening their support for livelihoods.

Shova Gyawali, Chairman of FWEAN, and Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Ncell, exchanged the MoU during the inaugural ceremony of the 7th International Women’s Trade Expo 2024 held at Heritage Garden, Sanepa, Lalitpur, on March 29.

As a leading telecom operator in Nepal, Ncell aims to leverage its technical expertise to support the capacity enhancement and digital literacy of over 5,000 women entrepreneurs associated with FWEAN. This partnership is expected to enhance the business viability of women-led enterprises through various initiatives.
