Council of Ministers endorses government’s policies and programs for joint parliament session

KATHMANDU:  In a crucial development, the Council of Ministers has greenlit the government’s policies and programs, which are set to be unveiled at a joint session of the Federal Parliament today.

Government Spokesperson Rekha Sharma confirmed that a meeting of the Cabinet convened this morning to give its stamp of approval to the government’s programs, which will be presented by President Ram Chandra Paudel at the joint parliamentary session.

President Paudel is slated to deliver the government’s policies and programs during the joint Parliament session scheduled for 3:00 PM today (Tuesday).

The endorsement of the government’s policies and programs by the Council of Ministers marks a significant step forward in the legislative process, as Nepal prepares to chart its course for the upcoming fiscal year.
