Taragaon Regency Hotels donates water tanks to Bouddha Police Circle

KATHMANDU: Taragaon Regency Hotels Limited has donated water tanks to the Bouddha Police Circle as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative. The donation includes four 2,000-liter water tanks along with metal stands, addressing the clean drinking water shortage faced by the police unit.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jayashwar Rimal, the police circle had been struggling with water access due to an old and deteriorated tank and issues using borewell water. “The old tank was placed on bricks without any stand. With this support, we now have a proper structure and sufficient water supply,” said DSP Rimal.

Taragaon Regency Hotels arranged the installation of the tanks and stands after receiving a formal request from the police. The handover was conducted by the hotel’s Corporate President Rani Byang, as informed by Gopalmani Bhandari, Director of Public Relations at the hotel.

Previously, the hotel group had also supported the Bouddha Police Circle by providing CCTV cameras and other essential equipment. Taragaon Regency Hotels Limited operates the five-star deluxe Hyatt Regency Hotel in Bouddha, designed to reflect Nepal’s art and cultural heritage through the Tara Gaon Cultural Center.
