Centara Collection Makes Pokhara Debut with Soft Opening of Himalayan Hideaway Resort

Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara, The Centara Collection, soft-opened at the beginning of 2026, marking the debut of the first Thai luxury hospitality brand in Pokhara. Located in the serene hills of Kaskikot, the resort offers panoramic views of the Annapurna range and introduces a new dimension of refined mountain living to the city. A formal grand opening has been scheduled and will take place in the near future.

Operated under Centara Hotels & Resorts’ premium lifestyle brand, The Centara Collection, the resort blends Thai-inspired hospitality with Nepal’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. Situated approximately 35 minutes from Pokhara, Himalayan Hideaway Resort Pokhara is designed as a tranquil retreat away from the bustling lakeside area, catering to leisure travellers, wellness seekers, and adventure enthusiasts.

The resort features 42 well-appointed rooms, suites, and villas, designed using natural materials, warm wooden interiors, and private outdoor spaces such as balconies, gardens, and skylights. Its facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, bar and lounge, outdoor swimming pool, gym, a specialty Pan-Asian restaurant, and a scenic tea house.

Guests will also have access to curated experiences, including paragliding over Phewa Lake, trekking in the Annapurna region, guided village walks, and wellness offerings at Cense by SPA Cenvaree, Centara’s signature spa brand.

To mark its opening, the resort is offering a special introductory package starting at NPR 25,000 nett per night on a bed-and-breakfast basis. The package includes a 10 percent discount on food and spa services, along with complimentary afternoon tea, and is valid until 31 March 2026 for Nepali guests.

Commenting on the opening, Prapaijit Thongma, General Manager, said the resort aims to present a new perspective of Pokhara by combining authentic Nepali character with Thai hospitality traditions to create meaningful and immersive guest experiences.

Beyond hospitality, the resort operates with a strong social enterprise focus, supporting local employment and community development while contributing to sustainable tourism in the region.

With this opening, Centara Hotels & Resorts further expands its presence in Nepal, strengthening Pokhara’s position as a premium destination for culture, adventure, wellness, and luxury travel.
