Global IME Bank announces 50% service fee discount on international online payments for students

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank has introduced a special scheme offering a 50% discount on service charges for international online payments made for educational purposes, targeting Nepali students planning to study abroad.

The bank said the concession applies to payments such as tuition fees, visa charges, online examination fees, insurance, and other academic-related international transactions. Under the scheme, students making payments for tests and services including IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GMAT, PTE, ACT, ACCA, USMLE, college fees, visa processing, and insurance will receive the reduced service charge.

According to the bank, the offer will remain valid until July 31, 2026, and is aimed at easing the financial burden on students and their families during the overseas study process.

The bank stated that the service has been expanded nationwide through its 117 branch offices, allowing customers to access the facility from multiple locations across the country. Detailed information about the scheme and the list of branches providing the service are available on the bank’s official website.

Global IME Bank is one of Nepal’s largest private-sector banks and has received multiple international recognitions.
