Global IME Bank to host nationwide financial literacy programs for youth during Global Money Week

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited is set to organize a series of financial literacy programs targeting students and young people across Nepal to mark Global Money Week 2026.

The bank announced that it will conduct week-long financial and digital literacy campaigns in all seven provinces of Nepal from March 16 to March 22, 2026, aligning with this year’s campaign theme “Smart Money Talks.”

According to the bank, the programs will be organized through its branch network to raise awareness among youths about saving, loans, remittance services, digital banking, insurance, investment, financial discipline, and protection from financial fraud.

In addition to physical events, the bank plans to publish and share financial education materials through its official social media platforms to reach a wider audience.

Global IME Bank Limited said it regularly conducts financial literacy campaigns through its nationwide branches and has already completed such programs through more than 70 branch offices in the current fiscal year.

The bank, which operates over 1,000 service points including 352 branches and 379 ATMs across all 77 districts of Nepal, has also received international recognition including the Best Bank Award 2024 from Global Finance and the Awards for Excellence 2024 from Euromoney.
