NADA urges govt not to extend prohibitory order

KATHMANDU: NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal has requested the government not to further extend the prohibitory order in the country.

The prohibitory order will come to an end on September 9 but there are talks doing the rounds that the government is preparing to extend the prohibitory order which is not reasonable now, reads the press statement issued by NADA today.

“The automobile sector has faced a huge loss during this pandemic and there is no sign of the sector reviving anytime soon. Moreover, the workers working in this sector have also been significantly affected,” reads the statement, adding, “Considering the country’s economy including the plight of the automobile industry NADA requests the government not to extend the prohibitory order.”
