Hotels providing quarantine service allowed to charge Rs 3,000 a day

KATHMANDU: The government has directed hotels that have been designated for quarantine facilities for Indian travelers via Air Bubble service not to charge more than Rs 3,000 per person per day.

The government has permitted eight hotels to provide quarantine service: View Bhrikuti in Godavari, Madhav Hotel in Guheshwari, Airport Hotel in Sinamangal, Farm House Resort and A-one Resort in Jagati and Amadablam Hotel, Readers Inn and Ananda Ashram in Gaushala. These hotels have 91 rooms in total.

The hotels will have to provide airport pickup service, lodging and food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) within the cost of Rs 3000, inclusive of all taxes and service charge.
