Government resumes tourist visa service from today

KATHMANDU: The government has resumed tourist visa service, which was suspended due to COVID-19, from today.

The Department of Immigration, citing that the government has relaxed the prohibitory order and resumption of domestic and international flights, has resumed the visa service.

As per the department, foreigners having valid visa up to April 28 and wanting to leave the country before July 8 will be exempt of visa charges at the Immigration Office while those wanting to extend their stay in Nepal will be granted a visa and will be exempt of late charge and fine.
