Production of American RC Cola begins in Nepal at a cost of Rs 500 million

KATHMANDU: RC Cola, an American original soft drink made since 1905, has started production in Nepal at a cost of Rs 500 million. RC Cola has been started in different flavors by Ventura Bottlers Pvt. Ltd., Nepal.

Subash Acharya, Director, Ventura Bottlers Pvt. said that the products announced at the launch program include RC Cola, Mighty Rain, RC Q Lemon Lime, RC Q Orange, Gear Up, G Power, Carbonated Water and Water.

Acharya says that RC is an internationally recognized excellent carbonated soft drink. The bottle is filled with international brand and takes Nepalese soft drink market to new height. The essential raw material for RC Cola is imported from Columbus, Georgia, USA and produced in Makwanpur.

RC’s products have been approved and regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA) and various food safety agencies in Asia and Africa, said KabinAryal, CEO of Ventura Bottlers Pvt.

Aryal says “There will be no compromise on consumer satisfaction and product quality. We are delighted to announce the production and distribution of this beverage for Nepal.”

Aryal said that it was a matter of pride to be able to introduce Cola, an old, original and creative symbol of the world, which has been accepted by 67 nations.
