Tara Air’s plane with 19 passengers missing, extensive search on

KATHMANDU: The Tara Airlines flight from Pokhara to Jomsom has lost contact. 9NAET twin-engine aircraft carrying 19 passengers including crew members from Pokhara to Jomsom lost contact.

The plane carrying 19 passengers from Pokhara at 9:55 am lost contact, as per Tribhuban International Airport (TIA) authority.

It has been suspected that the Tara Air aircraft crashed in the Titi Lake area, Mustang.

According to the airline, there were six foreigners and 13 Nepali passengers on board, including four Indian nationals. Captain Prabhakar Ghimire flew Tara Air’s 9N-AET aircraft.
