Nepse close at 1,893.53 today after losing 31.21 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index closed at 1,893.53 today after losing 31.21 points from last trading day’s closing. This is a loss of 1.62%. The index had gained 39.93 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1925.46 and went intraday high at 1,926.99. It then made an intraday low at 1,889.70 and ultimately closed at 1,893.53. 229 scrips traded hands via 20,420 transactions. A total of 3,034,483 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs 843.7 million in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday’s turnover of Rs 1.25 billion.
