Nepse loses 2.81 points today after five days consecutive gain

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index closed at 2,193.43 today after losing 2.81 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.13%. The index had gained 1.15 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,198.06 points and went intraday high at 2,202.88. Then, the index made intraday low at 2,170.25 and ultimately closed at 2,193.43.

217 scrips traded hands via 50,365 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 7,813,102 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.29 billion in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day’s turnover of Rs 4.67 billion.
