Vidushi Rana appointed as the Non-Residential Ambassador of the Republic of Iceland

KATHMANDU: The government of the Republic of Iceland has appointed Vidushi Rana as the Non-Residential Ambassador to Nepal. She was handed the letter of credence by Dilip Kumar Paudel, the Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday.

In an effort to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries, the government of Iceland has appointed her as the Non-Residential Ambassador to Nepal.

In her role as the Non-Residential Ambassador, Vidushi Rana will work towards facilitating tourism, cultural exchanges, trade, and investment between Nepal and the Republic of Iceland, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.

Vidushi Rana is the Executive Director of Kiran Shoes (Goldstar Shoes). She has expressed her commitment to elevate the multi-dimensional relationship between Nepal and the Republic of Iceland to new heights in the coming days.

Her appointment as the Non-Residential Ambassador is expected to contribute significantly to the growth of cooperation in various sectors, emphasizing collaboration in business, tourism, and education between the two countries.
