KATHMANDU: Trainee officers from the Armed Police Force’s ‘Armed Police Inspector Basic Training’ program, recently took part in bungee jumping at ‘The Cliff’ in Kushma.

On Tuesday, 45 trainee officers from the National Armed Police Force Training Academy in Matatirtha were involved in the bungee jumping activity as part of their adventure training package, according to Armed Police Inspector and training coordinator Ramesh Ghimire.

He said that while adventure training has traditionally been part of the curriculum for authorized level trainees, this was the first time bungee jumping was included to enhance the experience.

Raju Karki, President of The Cliff, expressed his satisfaction in contributing to the training of the Armed Police Force.

Under Karki’s vision and leadership, The Cliff boasts the world’s second-highest bungee jump, stretching across the Kaligandaki River gorge between the mountain and Baglung Balewa.

The Cliff is gaining recognition as an adventure tourism hub, attracting enthusiasts from across the country. Previously, various groups have also undertaken bungee jumping at this location as part of their training with the Nepal Police.
