One-stop car solution ‘See Car’ opens in Naxal, featuring EV station, exchange, accessories and café

KATHMANDU: A new era of automotive retail and service has begun in Kathmandu with the grand opening of “See Car”, Nepal’s first comprehensive auto hub that integrates multiple vehicle-related services under one roof. Located in Naxal, a growing automobile center in the capital, See Car was officially inaugurated by legendary actor Rajesh Hamal at a special launch event.

The facility offers a showroom for both brand-new and second-hand vehicles, an EV charging station, accessory shop, spare parts outlet, and a café, providing a seamless experience for customers seeking vehicle purchase, servicing, and relaxation in one place.

One Destination for All Car Needs

Founder Roshan Ghimire said that the aim of See Car is to streamline Nepal’s fragmented vehicle marketplace by offering new and used vehicles from multiple brands, including popular electric vehicle models such as BYD, all within a single, modern facility.

Customers will also benefit from exchange services, on-the-spot vehicle insurance, and a free bill book renewal service if insurance is purchased through See Car—helping customers save both time and additional costs.

Fast-Charging EV Station for 15+ Vehicles

As the demand for electric mobility rises in Nepal, See Car has installed a high-capacity EV charging station that can serve over 6 vehicles simultaneously, with fast-charging capabilities to support the growing number of electric vehicle owners in Kathmandu.

“Bringing together EV charging, sales, servicing, and even a café is a revolutionary concept for Nepal. This will help customers avoid the hassle of visiting multiple places,” said brand ambassador Rajesh Hamal during the launch.

Used Car Warranty and After-Sale Commitment

In a first for Nepal’s used vehicle market, See Car is offering a three-month full technical warranty on second-hand vehicles sold through its platform.

“There’s always uncertainty when buying a used car. That’s why we’ve taken full responsibility for any technical issues within three months of sale,” said founder Ghimire.

The company also offers free bill book renewal services for customers purchasing insurance at See Car—eliminating extra charges and bureaucratic hurdles.

Membership Program with Rewards and Discounts

See Car is also introducing a customer membership program, allowing users to earn reward points on every service they use—from car purchases and maintenance to accessories and dining at the on-site Italian café. Members will enjoy special discounts and perks on selected services.

Spread over 4 ropanis of land, See Car has already provided employment to around 50 people, contributing to Nepal’s growing automobile service economy and providing skilled jobs in sales, service, and administration.
