KATHMANDU: Certified Ashtanga yoga instructor and mental health and mindful living advocate Sangeeta Paudel has reached the final of Miss Nepal World 2026.
Paudel, who is competing as Contestant No. 5, has appealed to Nepalis and her supporters to support her through the public voting process. Public voting will remain open until July 28, while the grand finale of Miss Nepal World 2026 is scheduled to take place on August 1.
Born on December 1, 2002, in Pokhara, Paudel completed her school education at Diamond Higher Secondary School in Pokhara. She later completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at St. Xavier’s College in Kathmandu.
A certified Ashtanga yoga instructor, Paudel has been actively involved in promoting mental health, yoga, mindfulness and holistic well-being. She believes that a healthy body, balanced mind and purposeful life are the foundations of true prosperity.
Paudel also follows a vegetarian lifestyle. She says her love for animals, responsibility toward the environment and commitment to mindful living continue to inspire her. She believes that even small, conscious choices can contribute to positive change in society and the environment.
Through social media and various public platforms, Paudel has been raising awareness about mental health, holistic wellness, sustainable living and compassionate lifestyles. She says one of her key objectives is to inspire young people to lead more conscious, responsible and purposeful lives.
Reaching the final of Miss Nepal World 2026 has brought an added sense of responsibility for Paudel. According to her, beauty pageants are not merely competitions based on physical appearance but also provide an important platform to demonstrate personality, leadership skills, social responsibility and the ability to create a positive impact.
The final competition for the Miss Nepal World 2026 title features talented contestants selected from across the country. The winner will have the opportunity to represent Nepal on the international stage.
With her background in psychology, Ashtanga yoga and mental health advocacy, Paudel is presenting a platform that combines beauty with wellness, mindfulness and social responsibility as she competes for the national title.
