NT appoints Pratibha Baidhya as company’s acting MD

KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom has appointed Pratibha Vaidya as its Acting Managing Director. Vaidya who is serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the company has been handed the new duty by the government.

NT is still on a quest for its new MD on a permanent basis. However, the search for it has incurred legal objections which are likely going to delay the arrival of the new incumbent.

In it, Vaidya has been appointed the acting NT MD following a secretary-level decision by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology).
