Govt vows to regulate crypto trading, network marketing

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma today said that the government will regulate cryptocurrency trading and network marketing soon.

At a programme organized in the Ministry of Finance today, Minister Sharma said that such illegal transactions would be regulated as it would add challenges to the economy.

“Development of new technology is an important achievement for mankind in itself, but it also has its downsides. We are working on forming a committee to investigate and regulate the flight of capital through the use of various technologies including hyper-funds, betting and cryptocurrency,” said Sharma.
