KATHMANDU: Passengers can now book and purchase international flight tickets of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) by phone, making ticketing services more accessible to travelers.

NAC has announced that passengers can call during office hours to inquire about flights and book or purchase tickets for the airline’s international destinations.

Previously, passengers could purchase tickets through NAC’s sales counters, official website, and mobile application. With the latest arrangement, the national flag carrier has added telephone-based ticket booking as an additional service.

According to NAC, passengers calling the designated number can inquire about their preferred destination and provide the necessary details required for booking. They can also submit their email address, mobile number, and required documents through the process.

Once the QR code for the ticket payment is received on the passenger’s mobile phone, the passenger can complete the ticketing process from home without having to visit an NAC office or sales counter.

The airline expects the new phone-based service to make international ticket booking more convenient, particularly for passengers who may face difficulties accessing online booking platforms or visiting physical ticket counters.

The new facility is part of NAC’s efforts to expand and simplify its ticketing services by providing passengers with multiple channels to book and purchase air tickets.
